I know these questions get asked a thousand times and well I guess some people say some cd-rs are good, some say they are bad, mixed results. And the CDRmediaworld place has info that's like 2 years old. :)

I can get 100 of these baddies for $10 from my friend since he said he got 900 (!!) for free. I'm not sure what they are rated but probably 12x+ since he has a Plextor 12x burner. Are they good quality? Some people say that if you have a good burner (Plextor, TDK, Yamaha, etc...) that it doesn't matter what cd-r brand you buy. Well the Kingston Hypermedias that me and my friend bought sucked. I ended up dropping it to 2x burn to get audio cds to play perfectly in car, portable etc... Sometimes they worked at 4x but other times no. Data worked at 4x. They were 12x rated cds too. And I have a Plextor 8x.

So please any comments on these cd-rs. I think they were from CompUSA.

Your friend got these for free, and he's charging you for it???

Anyway, I'm burning these right now at 8x and I've had no problems with them. However, many people don't like these CD's since the information stored on them tend to get corrupted.
