Hey guys I have an issue only with an Albatron kx600 pro, 512 mushkin pc2700 ram, and xp2200 cpu.... I ran prime 95 and it errored almost immediately... what can I do?? the PSU is Antec smartpower 300W and I only have a bfg fx5600 ultra video, WD 160 GB hdd and Nec 1300a DVD drive..... Do I need to increase something??? this mahcine is for my neighbor.

I guess the first steps are to look up the mushkin ram's specs (timings it sets via spd, voltage it's rated to handle, PCxxxx/DDRxxx rating supported, etc) then look in your bios and check to see where everything's at in your settup. If everything is where it should be then the next step is probably to run Memtest86 (I prefer the bootable cd iso version) and see how many errors you get. Then tweak ram timings/voltage to see if you can get it to stop failing.

You might also want to check cpu temps and such since Prime95 pushes things so hard. Try out Motherboard Monitor to see where board temps and votages are at when you test.

I don't know that board or ram so I can't be much help (not that I could if I did...). Good luck.
