I'm trying to find some type of benchmarking software other than 3DMark2000 v1.1 Something to stress my CPU to 100% load. I'm trying to OC, so once I get it to POST and boot, I want to stress the heck out of it. I think Prime 95 is strickly for benchmarking though, correct? Any sugestions?
 
Prime 95 is actually a program that tries to find the highest Merseene Prime number. They do have a stress test on it that will slap any unstable system.

I would do 24 hours of this test becase this does stress everything you have and to make even more sure.. Try some of the other distributed programs ie distributed.net or SETI@home. After 24 hours of both of those and your system is fine its stable.

oh yah.. one run of these programs at once to maximize the effect.

if you need more help setting up the programs ask some people in the distributed forum.
