Prime 95 or BOINC?

I'm interested in stress testing my processor to see if it's stable and I would rather use BOINC because it benefits science.

Or is Prime 95 the program that's going to push my processor harder?
 
Any number of DC projects will put your processor at 100%. Some, like SETI@Home under BOINC, will stress the video card and processor at 100%.
