I have a Dell Dimension 8100.
Recently I removed the slave drive and formatted the master drive with new Windows. Since then, Dell screen at start up stays long then "Primary Hard Disk 1 not found" message comes up on a black screen.
I have a Maxtor harddrive (jumper set to "cable select" and also tried "Primary") connected to grey end cable.
I also installed a newer version bios.
Anyone know what's going on?
