My friend has an older computer We moved
the hard drive and it came unpluged. When
we plugged it back in we got a message
"Primary disk failure" use boot up disk.
She didn't have a boot up disk but I do.
Can you tell me why this happened and will
it be simple to fix?
Thanks Tami

Those words indicate that either the hard drive is dead or that it is not plugged in. It seems like it would be plugged in though and that it's probably dead:(

check the plugs , power and cable , and then see if it shows up in the bios. if not it's probably dead.
good luck
