I agree it is a good read. I do think, however, it takes a rather too patronizing view of the modern Democratic notion that we should use force judiciously, and it seems to imply that Vietnam (regardless of which President started it), Grenada, and, for that matter, the Iran-Contra affair, were Good Things that Democrats were wrong to oppose.
I think the piece correctly observes that this particular election, more than any other election in modern American history, is really a referendum on philosophy, and the battle lines are pretty clearly drawn IMO. I just hope the election is decided on the issues, rather than on who was doing what 30+ years ago.
