The title basically explains it all.. On my Grandma's computer, she has to put in the primary and secondary dns ip's in the dial up connection properties every time she reboots. Does anyone know what might be causing this? She uses 98se I believe. A little history... she's been through 3 different ISP's in the last few months, one of which being @Home cable through Cox, and the other was dial up through Qwest if that helps (software left behind perhaps? everything associated w/ both connections is gone ).

Thanks for any help
Justin

I believe this would be a network problem. The mods will probably either move or lock this thread. In any case, I have no idea what your problem could be.

Um when you dial up, you want to do DNS and DHCP(or something like iit, been a long time). you never ever hard code the stuff.
