Pricing starting to lower on 7950/7970

Looks like the sales are coming to a freeze. I am sure the retailers might be digging into profit a bit though.

Wonder when AMD will announce an actual price drop.

I feel like a price drop is in order but only to $499 as these cards offer a lot on the compute side of the fence and 3gb ram which may end up making them a little bit more future proof than the 680's in some respects.

they have always been lower in the uk and most places in the EU...

plus, amd have already said they wont drop a penny (zilch) but its up to the partners
