If they run similar to Conroe then the 2ghz parts for 315 (similar to the 265's of AMD though I feel likley 30% faster in the apps I run)

I amy go this route...June 26th is reported as release and ship date...So maybe arounf mid July I can get my hands on 2 of them...

Do you need all this power for your personal use? Or do you need it for work? Both?
Just curious. Seems like a large expense especially since you just got Dual 265's not too long ago. Well, it is for me at least.

dual 270's actually.....It would be for play and then integrated to work if the best system or F@H power....

I need more folding boxes and it is actually cheaper having (2) dual cores in one box (save on doubling up of case, power supply, vid card, DVD-rom, memory, etc.)...I am planning on having 3 boxes and 10 cores....work system will be for CAD, play system will be for encoding, editing HD content, burning, and dvdshrinking....OC rig is just for benching and records...probably in constant state of construction. I miss that. Computers get boring to me unless I am tinkering with them, but I need a system for work that is not down intermittently or being reformatted...
