The other day i was speccing out a system for a friend, and after using mostly mwave.com to find my prices he said "why don't you look on pricewatch"

Well I did, and as usual i found
1.) suprisingly cheap prices
2.) the same usual vendors (azzo, pc cost, atacom, etcetc)

So I decided to look up that first batch of vendors (they always come up in every catagory) and lo and behold, not a ONE was over 4.8 on the scale. Several were in the 2 and 3 range.

In any given pricewatch search the first 4 pages are almost entirely useless.

Frankly, I would love to find more vendors I could trust.

thats why retailer ratings exist. i ususally find vedors with good ratings on the second page. the really cheap places on the first page usually charge something insane for shipping so they suck anyway. do the price comparison by final price.

Check out the shipping column. If they don't list shipping, they don't deserve customers.

I've used PCCost and Atacom. Haven't had a problem.

I always check Reseller Ratings first, though...
