I posted an update in the thread below, I guess most are not seeing it:

Ok, thanks all. Sorry I should have tried on another PC over here, it's fine on it. I didn't think to since it wouldn't show in either browser on this PC!

I dumped the cache even via explorer so ALL hidden IE5content folders would show, dumped cookies (*cough*...glad that's over 🙂 ), temp files, you name it. Also ran IE repair tool. STILL can't get to the site!!!!! :disgust: I Can't imagine what the problem could be that would effect both IE and NS. Never had this problem before, and ALL other sites are fine. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? I CAN get to other pricewatch pages!! Just can't see the home page. In my history folder I was able to find the sub URL's for p'watch and I got the URL for the searchbar and have to use it! That works fine, as does all other URL's for the framed pages. (They were in the history folder too). Can anyone that's using IE 5.01 SP2 get to their homepage?

[Orig. post]
Hi all, does anyone know what happened to pricewatch.com ? I get a page of cuneiform characters and jibberish (IE 5.01). In NS 4.79 I see two tiny squares. Cache has been dumped, and since it happens on both browsers it's not a PC problem.

(BTW, IE 5.5 & 6 has LESS features than IE 5.01. I hated both 5.5 and 6 and went back to 5.01). Mod, you can close this thread I guess. 🙂

You mean with me, or with them and IE 5.01? Their homepage requires no certificates (in IE when you click properties for the page then click 'certificate', it says '....does not require a security certificate' if that's what you mean). I have all the certificate updates for IE installed.

Can anyone that's using IE 5.01 SP2 get to their homepage?
Thanks. 🙂

Why is this thread still around? Pricewatch is still up, it's a PBCK, not a problem with the website 😉

Mods lock this thread.

If you would read the orginal post above you would see what is going on, and also my follow-up post below it where I asked for the thread to be closed, to prevent so many works for me's from being posted. But I have since asked if anyone using IE 5.01 SP is able to get to the page. 🙂
