Prices of the ATI Radeon 8500 and GeForce3 Ti line to fall?

Do you guys think that the ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce3 Ti 200 will come down in price very much when the next generation comes out? Which is when, spring? Or will the new kings just be priced way higher?

I would say that the new GF4 and stuff will be selling for an outrageous amount at first. It's all marketing, all the people who are desperate will actually go and spend the five and six hundred dollars for it. After about three weeks, I would expect the prices to fall.

The geforce ti 200 is not going to go too low. But the geforce 3 ti500 and 3 are going to get a lot of price reduction after the new cards come out. Just look at their what they've been doing in the past and clearly shows the trends.

I figure the Ti200 will drop to about $100 or so, the GF2 Ti will drop to about $70, GF3 Ti500 will drop to about $250 or so.
Not sure about the R8500 though...
