I search on the forum, and a lot of older hot deal threads last year had dual cores under $300. But now, more than 3 month later, the prices are actually higher. Why is that? When are the prices going to be cut?

I been watching eBay for a better deal on a X2 4800+ and I've watch the bid prices go down. The "Buy It Now!" are higher, but if you're patient, you can get some terrific buys.
