prices of 9700pro in UK

well im heading over to London in 10 days and thought i might pick up some computer supplies while im there, since everything equates to a saving of $100 australian if i buy in UK. i dont want to spend a fortune just something to let me turn up a bit of eye candy when halflife2 arrives (if ever.) i was thinking picking up a cheap 9700pro (the age old 9700pro lives on!) since its probably best bang for buck. but ill only do it if there would be a considerable difference (talking extra 10fps or something) over my overclocked 9600pro (see sig) what are your thoughts? im crazy?

if so where are the best suppliers in England?

If you want good prices, mostly you will have to buy from the internet.
Komplett.co.uk has a 5900XT for £130 and a 9800Pro for £135.
Those are pretty much the cheapest prices anywhere.

wow excellent prices on Komplett. alright im looking at the £130 9800pro i know that 128 opposed to 256mb of ram in current games makes little to no difference, but will halflife2, stalker etc. require 256mb to run well?
