I mean, if you already have a 7900 GT, add another one for $200 and OC a bit, then you might as well get the performance of 8800 GT in DX9 without paying $$$.

QFT. This is crazy. I'm dying to upgrade to C2D and PCI-e with a 7900GS or X1900XT...this might seal the deal. I'll have to wait for Black Friday though. You know these deals will get even sweeter.

Yeah, it's out of stock. Otherwise I would have listed it because that is a smokin deal.

I have a good feeling about black Friday this year.

Yep prices for cards that do very fine with all the new games are getting cheaper. The recent ati price cuts are likely to blame for all this (though ati seems to have sold out most of their cards). Best part is it seems like it will be a few months before games come out that will challenge these cards to low resolutions and settings.

Newer cards usually push prices down on existing cards. Might even see some older models discontinued. As we near Christmas I would think we'll see more price cuts as well. How much and on which cards remains to be seen but I'm thinking it'll be across the board for the most part to increase sales.

The GTX is still not priced competitively for the performance. It needs to come down another $50 to make it a real deal when you look at performance: price against the other cards, especially the ATI cards. The GTO is a much better deal with minimal performance loss at all. ATI has much better, more aggressive pricing. NV needs to take heed.........cuz we win in the end :D

I'm hoping for 7900GS to hit $150 or less. Will be nice to put into a mid-range budget then.
