what about it? go to the cheapest supermarket around you whether it's pricerite, pathmark, waldbaums, keyfood, whatever

They have one of these in Everett, MA, right? If so....its one of those stores that can give you lower prices because they do not have the overhead of advertising or buying equipment such as shelves (everything is put out on a pallet, they just cut the boxes open).

I still prefer Market Basket.

Price Rite is a division of Shop Rite. They're a very low price alternative to full scale supermarkets. Instead of carrying a full product line they only carry what they can sell mega-cheap. If you have one nearby it's a decent place to stock up on staples and to bargain hunt, but you would be hard-pressed to do all of your grocery shopping there.

I've never seen one here in NC, only food lion, harris teeter, and the like.
