Yes you can request a Staples.com price match online but I would not recommend it.

Why?

Last I heard Staples.com inputs all orders by hand INCLUDING those orders placed online at Staples.com (you'd assume it's automated). All price matching is done by hand as well even if you do it through the web site. If you want your price match to be approved then call 1-800-3-STAPLE press option 2 and have the following information ready:
1) At least your order # and customer # (if possible).
2) The competitor's web site name, product description, price, next day shipping charges, SKU/ITEM # (very important).

Assuming everything goes well your price match will be entered while you are on the phone and your order total adjusted immediately.

Another reason why you should call to do the price match is what if it takes them 2-3 days to get to your price match request? By then the competitor could have raised their price, stopped carrying the product, go out of stock, end of free shipping promo, etc.
