I need to find a place where forum discussions exist about successful priceline (or similar site) bids... I know they exist but can't find it anymore. As you know, it only allows 1 bid per day... and I frankly can't keep playing that game. Need to know what will work and what won't. Thanx.

Is it only 1 bid per day now? Are you sure about that? I haven't used it in a while. But last time I did, you could re-bid soon if you changed some things of your criteria. (Price, number of stops, etc.)

And about the forum, sorry.....no idea.

Well I don't want to have to change the criteria. Changing just the price doesn't qualify as a change in their book... :|

bft (bidding for travel) is the best, i saw a newer one but cant remember, ill try to find it but it was mentioned on this forum in the last month. what are you bidding for? airfare or hotel? read up on their FAQ's (bft) as there are often ways to get 'free rebids' on hotel or ways to start from scratch and rebid a flight (you pick a different starting city near the airport you want). check it out.

Thx - trying to hit Cancun from NY (airfare only)... regular prices on expedia/travelocity are well over $600/person... and priceline advertised someone getting it for over 65% off that price. I'll be happy to get it down anywhere close to $300 actually...

BTW, anyone know if it's a good idea to rent a car down there ? We'll be there for 5-6 nights.
