"Price too low to print/advertise"

Those links are as pointless and almost as annoying as website "Enter" pages.

I think it's to keep people in the mindset that the company has super-low prices, while actually selling few of that particular product to minimize loss/maximize profit
 
The retailer is contractually not allowed to advertise a price lower than what the manufacturer specifies.

if that's the case, then they are really just trying to get you into the door.
