Price of pizza

Pizza places are charging way too much with the possible exception of the AYCE lunch buffets at some of them. I haven't eaten a pizza from any of those places in over 10 years and have no plans to do so.

Doesn't matter how many slices. It's 14". We could cut it into 10, 12, 14, 16 slices. Would be the same amount of food, but we cut it into 10 slices. They aren't small either, usually a 14" pizza is cut into 12. Given that an average person can eat 4 slices of people (unless you insist on overeating in which case food is going to be expensive for you no matter what).
 
Since we do pretty good business, I'm guessing our prices are just right. There's a place in town that sells large pepperoni's for like $7, but they hardly do any business. Our large pepperoni's are $12, and we sell WAY MORE. I guess it's because we use better spices, more toppings, and tastier sauce/crust.

IMHO, a 14 inch pizza doesnt feed 3 people. If it's a specialty then it should take care of two ok. Granted some pizza places here make pizzas that have over 2 inches of toppings, one of those could probable take care of 3-4.

Broadway does make some dang good pizza.

Hard to beat Papa Murphy's on price though.
 
If I just want a pizza, nothing special, I get the Little Ceasars Hot and Ready for $5. If I'm feeling adventurous and I have some free time, I'll pick up a large Papa Murphy's Chicken Garlick Pizza (take and bake at home) for about $8. If I'm at home, lazy, and want a good pizza, I'll order a Papa Johns Chicken Alfredo delivered for $13 total.

Large chicken garlic pizza's at Papa Murphy's here are $11.99. Perhaps the going rate of pizza is higher in my area in general.
