Price is no object. :-)

Lets say price is no object, and also you can afford to wait a couple months or so.

What gaming notebook would you buy? Sager? Voodoo? Acer? Alienware?

Does Cray make a notebook? 🙂

If price was no object and I could buy *today*, I would buy the Alienware Area-51 7700... 3.6 GHz P4, 4 GB, 1680x1050 resolution. 256MB Mobility X800 graphics for the ATI fans, and 256MB 6800 Go graphics for the NVIDIA fans. Audigy 2ZS CardBus soundcard, dual 7200 rpm 120 GB drives, 8x DVD+/-RW. Plus it has a few other nice extras, like 4 USB ports, 2 Firewire ports, 4 SO-DIMM slots for memory.

If notebooks were cars, the 17" PowerBook would be this:

But the Area-51 7700 would be this:

If I could wait, I'd see how the mobile Athlon 64 turns out once the nforce4 chipsets make their way into notebooks.

Nice GTO
And I would go for an A64 for gaming, hands down.

Price no object: I tape some keyboard keys onto a 1.5" binder (read: notebook 😉) and mail it to you for $5000 😛

personally I'd get the Dell XPC with 4 year complete care coverage (where they fix anything, including water, drop damage, etc). I was able to get the price up to $6k with all the bells and whistles

FragBook 15" Thin and Light Centrino Gaming Notebook. Would be my first choice. If money was no Object. Or for a fire box on ur lap try FragBook 17" Desktop Replacement Multimedia/Gaming Notebook..
Linkie

If money were no object, I'd buy a small tropical island. Or at least pay off the rest of my mortgage. ;-)

You can actually put that much stuff into a notebook?! :Q
Does it weigh 18 pounds?
