I love it. Many are giving refunds.
Personally I'd never buy gas there again.

Even better...In MI our attorney general is fining every gas station that raised prices past $2.50 $125,000 each.

Serves them right...everyone knows only the oil companies themselves are allowed to price gouge.

For some reason here in Ohio it is much more prevalent. CNN always shows pictures of gas stations in Ohio when talking about it. Is there any reason why? One gas station rose prices above $6.00/gallon! They claimed it was so people wouldnt line up and panic. yea right!

Bullsh!t.

:disgust:

Normally I'm against any kind of government regulation of prices, but in this case I fully support it. That kind of behavior is just ASKING to start widespread panic. Here in Oregon I saw some damned long gas lines, but prices were normal (always high here, $1.69 for regular). Make the bastards pay, they were completely out of line.

Check this out in Detroit, MI.

The Marathon station on 12 Mile Road in Madison Heights raised the price of regular gas to $5 after a competing station increased its price to $1.99 from $1.63, a worker told Local First News. Marathon's wholesale price increased 15 cents. Despite the hefty price, the Marathon station sold out of gas and then closed, according to Local First News.

Why would people buy that at $5???

<< Actually the $5 station was at 12 mile and Schoenner. ;) >>

SAL is correct. That is Warren. He lowered it the next day, though. I am sure he had threats on his life. As much as i hate to say it, Fox 2's Problem Sovlers did do something right.

Yes, I love the idea of selling WTC rubble on the eGay as well. (sarcasm)
