The sellers want close to market value. I want to buy the N64 stuff as a bundle or the SNES stuff as a bundle. I'll be checking prices later but was wondering if anyone here can give me a quick estimate for each group and what I should be able to do for the whole set?

N64
2 used controllers for the N64 console, one with a loose joystick.
2 memory cards for the N64.

games (I really like this list)
F-Zero X
Mario Kart 64
Mario Tennis 64
Super Smash Bros. 64
Super Mario 64
Paper Mario 64
Pilot Wings
Perfect Dark
Goldeneye 007
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Starfox
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Star Wars Episode I Racer
Donkey Kong
Beetle Adventure Racing
Jet Force Gemini
Turok
Turok II
Bomberman 64
Killer Instinct Gold
Wave Race

SNES
The SNES console has 4 controllers, 2 of which are new and still in the plastic wrap. The other 2 are used, and one of them is a knock-off type controller (not an original SNES controller).

games (this list is kind of meh)
Primal Rage
Mechwarrior 3050
Donkey Kong Country
Streetfighter 2 Turbo
Super Mario RPG Legend of the 7 Stars
Wrestlemania
John Madden Football
Super Mario World
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario All Stars
Brutal Paws of Fury
Mortal Kombat

No price checks. You can search through FS/T, Ebay, and Google to figure out your pricing.

Well with current going rates, the N64 games are around the $200-250 range if they are all good clean carts with good labels. The Paper Mario and Smash Bros are what really pushes the prices up, as they go for between $20-40 each.

Not sure on the SNES games (havn't been looking at them lately as I only have 2-3 more that I really want).

For a second I thought you were selling. If any of those N64 games are ones you don't care for, possibly I can lighten your cost by buying some. Only interested in a few of them though (the ones my neighbor stole from me back in the day...).

Oh good. What these people were asking for the N64 stuff was high. I was kinda shocked at what they asked for them. If I buy the set, I'll say what they orignally wanted for the games and system.

I figure the console with one good controller is worth about $80.

What is that site's pricing based on? Sales? Listings? If I could actually get $75 for my loose cartridge of Conker's Bad Fur Day, I'm on that in a New York Minute.

At PriceCharting.com, our goal is to track the market price of all video games over time. We collect completed sales from eBay (listings without a buyer are not included). Listing data from Amazon and Half. And sales data from other online retailers.

We then combine this information to calculate the current market price.

Went to the linked web site. The games are worth $370 in total for the N64. They want $50 more than that for the games assuming the console is worth about $80. It's legitimately worth $450 though. That's insane. I' have to low ball them and walk away.

Some of the expensive games I have no interest in so I'd probably just resell them.

Consoles is worth $30-$100 depending on rarity. Seems like the common gray console itself is worth about $30. Controllers are $15+ depending on rarity. I don't care about rarity. So I pretty much am in for about $20 per controller. So, $440 total. I'd sell off $100 of it. And I'd need a good controller to replace the crappy one they are bundling.

ARggghhhh.....

You did it wrong if you got $370 for the price of the N64 games. You need to click on the game itself, and look at the loose cart price (typically ebay, but sometimes amazon or another site will show up). I just priced them all out on the site and it was ~$210 (right in the $200-250 off the cuff I said earlier). And remember, that is the ebay sale price, not factoring in the cut ebay takes for the listing itself (approx 10%), and paypal fees/charges. So realistically, they are looking at about $180 after the fees are assessed, plus the time and effort to create all the listings, take photos of the carts, write up quick description, package them up for shipping, and ship them out to the buyer.

I wouldn't pay more than about $40 for an unmodded N64 console (some of the later serial numbers can not even do the RGB mod, and are worthless if you want to do that for better picture quality). A RGB modded N64 will set you back about $80-120. And as you mentioned, don't go by controller "rarity" if you are trying to buy the system to play. For playing the system, controllers are only as good as the wear and tear on them. The analog stick on N64 controllers are notorious for not doing well when abused with a heavy thumb and get very loose. Ones that are like that have very poor value as you need to completely replace the analog stick (or do serious repair work with epoxy, sanding/dremel work) to get them working again (and that will cost ~$20 plus about 40 minutes of your time).

Seriously, $150-170 is a very fair offer for the N64 games given the time and expense it will take to sell on ebay.

Yes, you can get that and more for Conker's Bad Fur Day if your cart is in good condition (i.e. label is good, not faded, no scratches, no stickers, no marker writing on cart). Conker's sell point is at about $80 right now. If you have box and manual, you are looking at $130+ depending on condition.
