Price for Samsung 955DF

I?m in the market for a new monitor and have narrowed it down to the Samsung 955DF, and the Cornerstone c901. It?s for home use with a combination of 30% work, 30% surfing and 40% gaming. I?m leaning towards the Samsung but when I was searching previous threads concerning the 955DF I noticed that some of you guys paid less than $250.00 for this monitor including shipping, using coupons from Onvia and Amazon.

Samsung still has a rebate for $30.00 ending March 30, 01 but I haven?t been able to find the monitor for less than $310.00 not including shipping. My question is, what is a good price for this monitor, and are the coupons still being accepted from Onvia or Amazon.

thanks

I take it you are opting for a shadow mask tube monitor then? DF means DynaFlat in Samsung terms. It's a fine screen I've heard but if you have some more cash why not go for the aperture grill version (900NF)? Okay it costs a bit more but it's a profesional monitor so it's bound to.

The 900nf is no doubt an excellent monitor, but i need to jump over the cost hurdle.

how do you get the coupon at buy.com?

thanks

Thanks for your interest in the Cornerstone c901. For your information we just introduced the Cornerstone c910, $299. The c910 is designed to be the replacement for the c901, same basic specifications, 1280 x 1024 at 85Hz, 0.22 Horizontal dot pitch etc.
