Price for laptop with broken LCD

I have a laptop with a broken LCD, figure someone might want it using an external monitor. It's a sony vaio, about 1 year old, Athlon 4 1.2Ghz, 384MB SDRAM, 40GB HDD, DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive, Floppy Drive, WinXP Home, extra battery (swaps with Floppy)... what is a fair asking price? Or, anyone know a place that buys broken laptops?
