I didn't really notice the CPU price drops yet.. did they not drop as much as expected? Maybe didn't even drop yet?

I'm sure this will sound stupid to some people but whatever.
 
hi there are about 15 threads on the current price drops.

price drops are happening. how much did you want a cpu for?

Q6600 is around $270
E6850 is around $280

did you check mwave?
newegg?
zzf?
allstarshop?

all of them have the Q6600 for sub-$300... they were around $500 before.
