price difference between oem & refurb oem

Was helping out a friend looking for a video card and came across this at newegg:

ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 9700Pro listed for $159, but then I saw another refurb which seems to be the same model for $189...

am I missing something? Or are there more than one model of the ATI 9700Pro AIW???

(ps also wouldn't mind recommendations for a card ~150 🙂 )

thanks!

Sometimes Newegg has some weird pricing, definately go with the $159 unless you need those extra accessories that might not come with the OEM version.
What is the primary purpose of the card?

I doubt the OEM nor the refurb version come with all the special adapter cables that the retail version has...YMMV...BEWARE that Newegg regularly ships out DOA refurb video cards!!!

<RANT ON>
I will never buy a Newegg refurb video card ever again. I am 0/5, with 3 bad cards within the last week alone. They are selling JUNK as "refurbished". There is nothing refurb about them. They are untested units that people know are bad and have been RMA'd back to Newegg. Then Newegg sells these junk cards again and again until they finally sell it to someone who is to lazy to RMA it again...and that person gets stuck with their junk!
<RANT OFF>

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot... OR if you RMA the card, Newegg will keep shipping you bad replacement cards (I had three in a row!) to force you to waste so much time and money (return shipping) that you break down and buy a retail card just to avoid any further hassles. I hate refurbs...can ya' tell?

i had no intention of buy the refurb (def. not now from above post) but just curious as to why the price difference
