I'm looking to sell my old PC to a buddy, and I want to know what price is fair for both of us. Here's the specs

Shuttle SFF Case (SK41-G) w/ whatever mobo came with it
Athlon 2400+ XP
1 GB RAM
9600XT 256 MB Video Card
120 GB Hard Drive
Combo DVD/CD-R Drive
No OS

I was thinking ~$300. Thoughts?

As per forum rules, price checks are not allowed on the forums. Best thing to do is search ebay...

We're not allowed to answer these kind of threads incase it leads to an auction-style bidding war for it, which is not allowed.

That said I think it's worth $45,000.

We're not supposed to do price checks, this thread will probobly be locked soon. Anyone know why pricechecks are not allowed?

You guys don't have to be idiots about this... help the man and send him a PM for what you think a good starting price would be. The market will determine the actual selling price...

I'm ending my participation in this thread before I get in trouble. Again, my apologies for my ignorance of the rules -- I did not intend for this to become a bidding war / interest gauge of any kind.
