Hmm? $120? $150? $180? $200?

What im asking about, is how much you, right now, would pay for a guarantee stable duron (whatever mghz) @ 950mghz?

Take a minute and think about the performance, relative to other chips (that are overclockable).

Anyone got a clue as to what a duron @ 950 performas like say to a "Classic Athlon @ 750-800 (which Typically sells used $120-$140,modded)?
P3-700 cb0 (~~$175) (ie onvia w/coupon) @ 900?
Celermine 633 @ 900? ($120-130 on fleabay)?

I'm still trying to figure out if im going to go duron on my next puter. But if i'm going to spend the extra bucks to pay for what will be a grey market of hacked durons, The price/performance ratio of the "hacked" chip is important to me.

I'm not interested in buying a duron, to own a duron. I'm interested in real world performance for the buck. Id rather stay intel, so amuse me why I should go duron.

Duron's perform to about 95% of a Athlon of the same size. I read this someplace. And even some Duron's will perform up to 99% of an Athlon of the same size. So I say that these things are really good deals.

No more than $100. Keep in mind that you need a new mobo costing $120-$150 too.
