Previously read folders not being marked

I'm using Mozilla w/ Linux at work, and IE on Win98SE at home, and in either case, in the past couple of days, my previously read topics aren't being marked as such in Hot Deals, Case&Cooling, Motherboards, or Video forums. I would guess it's a cookie issue, but it seems odd that it's on two totally different setups.

Anybody else seeing this?

No works absolutely fine here, it is a client side cookie issue of some kind.

Everything is fine for me at home, but at work it often doesn't refresh my read threads. I'm sure there's some IE settings different, but the only other thing I can think of is that we're behind a proxy server.

That happens to me too. It just started recently. Everytime I come back there are "new" messages that aren't new. I'm using NS 6.2.2. I just got to the Forums home page and reload until the folders turn yellow before I leave.

Scratch that idea. Everytime I come back, everything is "new" going back to May 8th.

Every time we've looked into this for someone its been client side issues with proxies, or browser cache issues. I have absolutely no issues with this on every one of our browsers. No idea what you can look at client side.

Same problem here. Logged on and everything from 5/7/02 on is blue folders. Everything was ok when I logged off last night.

I went into my cookies.txt file and deleted every cookie associated with .anandtech.com. This fixed the issue. I had 5 lines, and I believe there should only be 3. They should be

FUSETALKLATESTPOSTS1
FUSETALKLASTDATE
FUSETALKUSER

I believe 2 of those were duplicated. I'm not sure which ones. I don't know when you did the upgrade. Does the May 7th/8th fall into that time frame?
