Was watching new Blu-ray releases and came across an interesting release by Nicolas Cage

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Humanity_Bureau

(Nicolas Cage) is an agent of the humanity bureau, a government agency that determines a person’s productivity. Kross’s reports are key factors in deciding who stays in America and who is deported to New Eden which is in reality a 21st century concentration camp where the excess unproductive population is liquidated.

How long till you think this is mostly a reality with quite simply refusing healthcare to people who are deemed unproductive to "society"?

Hope Trump doesn't watch it...Eric T would be worried.

Projecting your worry about your future value? j/k

It's already happening, however the policy is based on merit. You're not productive? Fired. This is how it should be, do you agree or disagree?
Mr. Trump signed three executive orders. The first makes it easier to fire and discipline federal employees, which a senior administration official, who declined to be named on a call with reporters, argued had become a much too lengthy and difficult process. The administration said that it frequently took six months to a year to dismiss a poorly performing employee, followed by an appeals period averaging eight months.

To streamline the process, the official said, the executive order will give poor performers only 30 days to demonstrate improvement, rather than the current limit of up to 120 days, depending on the agency.

The official said the administration would also make performance a more important factor than seniority when agencies undertake layoffs.

In China for yapping so much, you'd be taken away, executed and your organs fed to the little people.

As long as they (China) supply spoiled Americans their cheap sub par shiny junk so they can pretend to be materially rich on their ever decreasing sub par wages why should they care,

and besides all the elitists (especially brainwashed liberals) tell us automation is taking over and the non productive will be given basic income and free healthcare.

Now you come along and tell us because of some second rate Hollywood movie this isn't so.

Damn...they're on to us!

Ignore that thing and discredit "it" at every turn. Nothing but a hysteria spreading, bone head. Ignore that EMO kid. Give it just enough rope to get it's darwin award...and it will, unless it seeks a means to get sane again.

With current costs and stagnant wages for 40 years, let us assume healthcare and survival rates are already determined by "value".

Sure, you could enter an ER and instantly go bankrupt over 5 figures, but what about cancer or conditions that need ongoing and preventative care? People struggling to pay the bills don't get skin spots checked or removed as needed. They don't get heart scans to ensure stability there. A blood test is what, several hundred if not a thousand dollars each time.

There is a lot of healthcare that people simply avoid due to expense.

Losing your current job is not the same as losing your life due to some government official deciding you are not "productive enough" for society.

It's not like there's anything sane or moral about your irrationally self-serving ideology.
Of course not...you've obviously got it all figured out. How can anyone deny that!

Do you ever listen to yourself and the horseshit you regurgitate?

If it's such horseshit, then why do you have such a hard time coming up with a coherent and unemotional response to it?

Kind of hard when faced with an incoherent canned talking point like that. If you have something to say...say it ffs.

What part was canned?
Look, you're some random JA who regularly wastes his employer's time arguing nonsense on some obscure internet message board who fantasizes he'd be successful in a society where lack of productivity means death. So it's a good idea in your opinion, right?
What more needs to be said?

Between -10 to -30 years, if you can run with the allegory of the camps being like bad neighborhoods, or the undesirables in cities with rampant homeless issues, and the economic pressure from rising costs preventing said care, rather than a distinctly malevolent state entity.

They just came up with a coctail that extends your life by 36%... That shit is going to be expensive. The math is straight forward from here.
