Preventitive Questions about Spyware

I am rebuilding my other XP machine and I'd like to avoid spyware at all costs. I plan to install spybot search and destroy's immunization, is there anything else that I should do? Is SP2 better than SP1 at protecting against spyware? Can I use a different browser like firefox to avoid getting infected? I have a clean machine and I'd like to keep it that way?

perhaps make an "everyday" acount that doesn't have admin rights?

Thanks

SP2 has alot of extra security stuff that would help so I suggest that. Another thing you shoudl check out is the pinned topic in the software forum. It has a nice spyware guide and a guide on the best anti-virus and firewall. That spyware guide is very well written.

SpywareBlaster works great to prtect from spyware installing. And using a different browser would help ALOT. Use firefos or Opera based on poersonal preference. I dont see a need to amke an everyday account though. it would get annoying for me

SP2 + AdAware will do the trick. (for me at least)
Also, Check out the guide KoolDrew speaks of, it's really good.
