Preventing Windows XP from creating folders...

Hey all,

This is kind of a silly question... 😛

How do I stop Windows XP Pro from creating a My Pictures (amongst other folders) folder in My Documents? Every time it's created I just delete it, and it gets to be kind of an annoyance.

Well - I would prefer to eliminate the "My Documents" folder along with all sub-folders. I store no documents on my OS drive at all. I called Microsoft, and we had an extensive discussion about it. Their mindset is rigid on the matter and it is so entwined in the Windows OS programming that they had no suggestion as to how to eliminate it. Do - I just do as suggested - leave the damn things empty - hide them and ignore them.

I have always considered even the folder name "My" anything to be childish - same with "My COmputer." That I change to simply "System." 🙂
