Prepare to be disappointed if you order this 5200 even expecting "normal" 5200 performance. I got 2 of these from computergate.com and they are the 64-bit memory interface versions of the GF FX 5200. They only have 1/2 the bandwidth of the non-Ultra 5200 (3GB/s memory bandwidth vs. 6.4GB/s bandwidth). Think the TNT2 M64 vs. the regular TNT2. :|

The Gainward model Pro660 with DVI and TV out has the normal 128-bit memory bus.

Most places, including monarch computer, are not explaining that this is a crippled card. You can easily tell by the missing memory (only 4 chips on the front of the reference board design instead of 8) that this is a 64-bit memory card. I have seen it in person and the illustration in the link above is accurate. Gainward's web site also has the same picture.

PXC: where did you find out the specs for each Gainward card? I even went to their website and they don't give the specs for their cards.

And I agree: Stay away from the 64-bit interface one unless your not going to be using it for memory intensive/high resolution "things" (like games).

Read THG's review of the 5200 ultra, it is trampled by the geforce4 ti4200.

According to This article this video card is a complete dog and is actually slower than a Geforce 4 MX 440.

That's a different card reviewed (MSI 5200 with 128-bit memory bus... 6.4GB/s bandwidth) at VR Zone and if that one were available for $79, I'd buy it. The Gainward card listed in the first post is much worse: 64-bit memory bus, about 3GB/s memory bandwidth.
