pretty jacked up story

So my girlfriend took the LSAT last weekend. The instructor/administrator asked every student entering the test if they had a cellphone, mp3 player etc. If they did, the instructor/administrator demanded them to leave their cellphone, mp3 player, etc. outside the class. My girlfriend along with another student hid their belongings under a couch. During break time my girlfriend went to go check on her stuff hiden under the couch, some thief stole her mp3 player(which I gave her) and left her cell phone along with the other persons cell phone. My girlfriend felt so bad that the mp3 player I gave her got stolen that she couldnt concentrate on the 2nd half of her LSAT's. I hope the thief rots in hell for his/her actions.

One thing I am cracking up about is the fact that the thief stole an old outdated model mini cd mp3 player I bought 6 years ago. I tried replacing the control module thingy that is between the headphones and player a while back. The parts for this mp3 player is so scarce, that it took them(aiwa) a week or two to get back to me. Once they got back to me they were going to charge me $80 for control module. I kindly rejected there offer given the fact that I bought the mp3 player less then that. So basically since the thief doesnt have the charger, he is going to have a kick butt time looking for it. Once he is able to find it, he will probably realize its not worth it.

Anyhow, I just thought it was jacked up and I feel very bad for my girlfriend not being able to fully concentrate on a test that is really important over a mp3 player I didn't really care for.

D@mn you thiefs!!!! D@mn you~~~~~~

cliffs:
gf takes LSAT
admin makes her leave electronic belongings outside
mp3 player I gave her gets stolen
gf cant concentrate on LSAT

i guess she learned that bringing mp3 players to an exam is pretty much unnecessary.

sucks that it got scammed though.

I think LSAT should have these rules written on the ticket they have to bring inorder to take the test. That way you are warned prior to going to the testing area.

That sucks. Whenever I took exams, we had to leave our backpack etc. inside the exam room, along the wall next to the door. Nobody could cheat, and they were under the watchful eye of about 150 exam takers / givers. Seems odd that they would make your gf leave the stuff outside the room.

They did do that. All students had to leave there book bags in front of the room. But if the admin saw that you had anything that "beepbed" then he/she made you leave your bag in the front of the room sent you outside of the room to go place it somewhere outside. Kinda jacked up if you ask me....

Time to get everyone that lost something together. Then head down to the office for this teacher. But you must all have pitchfork and torches, yelling kill the monster kill the monster, ala frankenstein's monster.

Yes it sucks, but what do you expect with society today?????? Odd why the cell phones weren't taken though.

Nope, anything that "beeped" had to be OUT of the room.... has anybody even ever heard of this ridiculous rule?
