PCTOYz has a deal for Got|Apex? readers only. It`s an OCZ Modified Duron 900 MHz for $45.99 as opposed to the $49.99 on their site. It starts at 12AM EST and runs for 24 hours only. You must put GotApex in the comment section of the order form. Take advantage of this awesome deal!!!

you know why it's cheap? b/c most durons (even 600's) go OVER 900 - 950 min.

IMHO, as always

This is getting rediculous. I normally don't post in forums very often, I just prefer to read through them. But what is the deal with the overclockerz store? If I had a dollar for everytime I had heard a sob story from an "unsatisfied" customer, well you know the rest.. How could they be that bad if they are starting their own line of video cards, memory and whatever else..? It seems to me that if they were not very good to their customers, they wouldn't do any business and wouldn't be able to expand like that.. It reminds me of Sprint PCS. I have heard from several people about how bad their service was and to avoid them like the plague. Well, I have been using them for about a year now without ANY problems. If you guys or gals can recommend an online store that has never had any customer complaints or some kind of problems, I would LOVE to hear about them. Anyhow, flame me all you want, its just my opinion on the matter...

In the past year I have bought 2 Abit boards with Durons from them and I have no complaints. It seems to me that all you here is negative things about them but no positive.

The ocz did not start their own line of vid cards/memory - like many companys they just put their label on other manufacturers products. In order for ocz to survive, they obviously must have some satisfied customers but what troubles many people is the nature of the problems that people have with this company. In my experience, the item was advertised as in stock. Upon ordering I received an acceptance confirmation. Yet weeks later no product and it turns out that it was never in stock. They charged my credit card even though the product wasn't even in stock and obviously never shipped. The customer support will flat out lie to your face and do everything in their power not to issue rma/refunds. The only way to get your money back is to deal with your own cc company.
If they can't even process the orders for the one store then why did they open up two new stores-gameshopper and pctoyz. Obviously because the ocz stores reputation was getting trashed by disgruntled customers.
Ocz has the absolute lowest prices on overclocked pcs online but you also have to deal with very questionable business practices. In time, they may become a reputable dealer but even today you hear people having bad experiences.

Most late week (30+) will do 900 without much trouble.
Even my factory unlocked week 21 duron 650 does 935 with a fop32-1
Not a bad price though.

Also, they committed ratings fraud on resellerratings and were caught by the admin of that website. They weren't too smart about doing it and they did it again after changing the store name. They did this in order to make all the complaints seem insignificant. Anyhow, you can derive your own conclusions based on your experience with Sprint PCS but whatever.

SprintPCS is on a different level than this store. It's like comparing apples and oranges. We're talking about business practices, not the actual products themselves. SprintPCS customer service is fine by me. Please don't buy from these guys.

Smells like OCZ is having cash flow problems to me. I'd say steer well clear. I was eyeing some of their PC 150 CAS 2 memory, too.

So let me guess.. OCZ paid off Mad Onion, iamnotageek, and 3dnews to say great things about their memory?? The bottom line is you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. You can't say it's comparing apples to oranges. They are both companies with upset and angry customers. But what about all of the satisfied ones? They have no reason to bitch or complain at all, which is why you never hear about them. Its ALOT easier to hear negative things about someone, or a company then it is to hear the positive. Thats all I am saying. But already there are two posts in this thread from SATISFIED customers.. What does that say??

I personally have not and probably will not deal with PC Toyz or OCZ. I don't buy anything online. I prefer the instant gratification of walking into a store and buying it at that very moment.. : )

PS, Thanks for not flaming too hard...
