Okay, there is already a thread about digitalfoto selling this camera, but it doesn't really take staples into account and there apparantly is a new promotion, so I'm making a new thread.

Staples has the Fuji 2650 digital camera for $199.98 here

PM it to digitalfoto club at $153.85 here

They may or may not give you the 110% pm guarantee, they may just give you 100%. But basically it ends up like this:

$199.98 - 153.85 = $46.13 x 110% = 50.74
$199.98 - 50.74 = $149.23, then add something for $79 to get you over $150, and use a printable $30 off $150 coupon, to get
$149.23 - 30 = $129.23

Then to make this hotter, I recieved a mail in form from staples for a $20 gift check, which applies to a purchase over $150 or more. I'm not really sure if it will qualify since my after coupon price was $144(I got kinda unlucky with the manager, should have been around $135 with tax). YMMV with the gift check, I'm not really sure if the manager meant to hand it to me, I'm thinking he didn't know about the coupon I used, but I'm going to mail it in, can't hurt to try.

Overall this looks to be a really good camera, steve's digicam's review seemed to like it.. It's 2.0 megapixel and comes with a 16 MB xd picture card.

Not to crap, but good luck. Staples may choose not to pricematch since digitalfoto isn't an office superstore. Plus they will add next day shipping to the deal when pricematching since you get that with a Staples order. This would be a great deal if you can pull it off. This will definitely be a YMMV deal. Hope it works!

I agree YMMV, *but* the above comment about "pricematching" at Staples and "an office superstore" is way off-base! This forum is "proof" of the wide variety of E-tailers that have been used to pricematch at Staples.

I tried to order it with a CR over the phone. No go. Said www.digitalfoto.com is on their list of unauthorized resellers.
---So I walked the 3 blocks to Staples. They honored "buydig.com" (pricegrabber.com - the cheapest listing - about 149.95 or so).
But they tacked on $20 for "shipping" - on which they charged tax (in CA) of course. Then you can get the printable $30 off $150 coupon from f^twallet (are we allowed to mention their name? people are always calling it large wallet --oooops. Blocked. I guess we can't utter the evil fatw^llet.com name. ) - searching their hotdeal forum for staples to find the code num.
Total after ca 8.25% tax and pseudo shipping (which made adding paperclips or whatever unnec.) about
$147 = the whole potato
which ain't bad for walking out the door without rebates n such.

I didn't get the gift check, but they price matched and applied the coupon, so the camera plus a pack of rollerball pens was $127.03 including tax.

Great little camera. PM Staples to Tech Depot @ $179.99. Tech depot offers free shipping the same as Staples if order is over $100. Add the $30 off of $150 + stackable $10 off of $50 from your favorite coupon website. With tax included in Cincinnati I picked it up for $145. You might do better than this but they won't try to ding you for the PM to Tech Depot so it's a sure thing. I ordered it online then called in my PM afterwards so I didn't get the gift card but, what the hey, still a great deal! :)

I bought two things yesterday at staples, I'm going to try and get the orders consolidated so that I can qualify for the $20 rebate check no problem I think

those are some pretty nice pictures.. like the one of your gt, the edges of the stop sign are at a 45 degree angle which is where you see the pixelation the most but on my low 1024x768 desktop resolution it still looks very smooth

Why would they add next day shipping if you do a phone order, if they can't ship it next day, then they can't add in the next day shipping price.

adding next day shipping when PMing should be only for retail stores since you are getting the item right away.

I got in on this last night. They PM'ed to Buydig.com @ 149.00. Picked up a 64 MB card (~50). Total was 206.XX with MI sales tax. Unfortunately, the cashier tried inputting a coupon and the system didn't like it. She called the manager over and she informed me that coupons were not usable when doing a PM. I told her I had done it before. She said it was in fine print somewhere. Repressing my A-hole tendencies, I paid and left. Still pretty decent (camera + add'l mem for less than camera @ orig price + tax).
