Holy crap his facial expressions are priceless when he sings the small portion of Canon in D after those songs :laugh:
 
that was pretty good. i think he fudged some of those songs...but still he's right that chord progression is overused.

It helps if you've played a string instrument. Canon in D is absolutely hated by a lot of musicians just because it's played so much.

I like the piece... but I hate playing it (cellist). Its just the same 8 notes over and over until the conductor stops.

Literally. I pretty much use it to zone out, look at the audience, pretend not to be bored, etc..

Edit: rofl, he plays cello too. I FEEL YOUR PAIN.
