I may pick up one of these to use as a spare secondary system. For a 17" monitor it has some pretty good
specs , it does 1600x1200 @75Hz ,.25 dot pitch, I believe it uses a Mitsubishi/NEC tube don't quote me on that...all I know is
its a damn good looking monitor and I spent about 10 min playing around with one several months ago, IMO its
a diamond in the dirt.

Can anyone confirm who OEMs this monitor?? It does look like a decent monitor w/ the specs.

i bought one of these today, looks sharp on display.

Bought it as a gift for a revocation my brothers and i are doing for her home office.

Looks nice too the black and silver.

They get pushed down so fast by all the stupid FAR CDRW crap that I never see them. Would have jumped on this if I had

Rebate is good through April if you can find one in the store. Though I just talked with a BB CSR and they said that if you order it online and the rebate does not print out with the order, you can bring it in and return it to the store and then buy it back 30 seconds later and get the rebate. He did not know why the B&M stores have the rebate running through April and the website doesn't have it at all.

I'm gonna go ahead and order one and if they won't give me the rebate when I bring it back to the store, then I'll just return it and get my cash back. It's going on my intrest free card with free shipping anyway, so it's not a big loss if it doesn't pan out. If it does, then I'll have a nice matching monitor to go with my new VPR 17" LCD :)

IT is a Samsung monitor made for Best Buy. Probably similar to another of the regualr Samsung monitors, just rebagged in a different shell. I work for Georgia Pacific and we do the same thing with our paper products. If costco comes to us and asks us to make them their own toilet paper to sell in house but want's it to be like this other brand, then we simply make the same grade of product and seal it in a different package.

Its the second monitor i bought. One for my mom, and the second for my 2nd monitor.

Deal's good again, this time $300 - $100 instant savings - $100 rebate = $100. Only 1 rebate instead of 2. Anyone get this monitor? How is it?
