Did you ever sit down and think about the color of the drinks you consume? I am eating lunch now, and i noticed how my glass of coke, looks pretty dark, black, brown, like nasty water almost, and overall has a texture of certain body materials, but on the whole, and after looking long enough, it just looks gross. . .tastes great though!! but why does it not have cool colors?

I mean look at drinks like gatorade or coolade etc etc. . .flashy colors, not brown/black. . .

Well I don't know. I'd love my coke to be a bright orange or something, but then it will color one's tongue. Quite a condundrum.

Interactions of materials used in the product can cause color and/or addition of color additives.

Darker colors are also used to hide reactions that occur within the final product.

Coke used to be green, then they started making it brown.
Strange, though, how they started it, and now it's just 'cola' color....

I dunno, I always find it kinda funny when I'm in a restraunt that serves Moutain Dew and I'm sitting at my table with a big glass of bright neon green liquid
