Pretty Depressing When the High For Today is -1 F

3F now with the wind chill making it feel like -16F.

Last night, it was down to -5 with a "real feel" temp of -26F.

(Chicago, IL)

well, where I am, Brookings, SD, it's -6 F right now with a wind chill of -24 F.

Tonight the actual temperature is supposed to be -24 F with the wind chill on top of that. Good thing I don't have class until 10 AM tomorrow.

One year ago today it was 55 F. I'm pretty sure I rode my Harley about once a week all last winter.

7F, wind chill -10F. That looks like the high for today, then a forecast of 4F tonight, with higher winds, and 6-10" of snow, with another 6-10" tomorrow.

just went to start my car and it wont start🙁

AAA has a 20+ minutes wait on hold to get roadside assistance and I need to get to work

-2 is todays high

-5 right now

-27 wind chill

How could does it have to be to spit and have it freeze mid-air?

If I remember correctly it will freeze immediately upon hitting the snow around -60F and freeze in mid-air around -80 F

Damn that's too cold.. I wonder how cold if you spit upwards and gave it a litle more time to freeze? Chicago people test this out tonight.

1. Go to the upper floors
2. spit from window
3. Result = frozen spit dart

Yikes....working in the ER from 3p-3a tonight....i'm betting on more than a few of Detroit's homeless coming in tonight for exposure and/or looking for a warm bed...

It's about 50 right now, and headed for a high of 65 here. Supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow and Tuesday...
