Most leftists who follow US politics that I know of have a very negative view of Harris, largely because of her record as a prosecutor (though it sometimes seems to me as if their problem is with her having had that job at all, which seems a bit unfair, as _someone_ has to do it). I haven't followed it in any detail, I just took their word for it, but from what the OP says, I can see why they feel like that. Shame, because there aren't many candidates that are appealing to me...really just Sanders and Warren. But mostly I just hope the choice isn't Biden.

Is that really strange space-cadet hippy one still in the mix?
