Wait for it. It was in the 50's here in IL yesterday. Today it's mid/low 30's with a viciously wicked wind that cuts through everything. I was chilled to the bone trying to fill up my car with gas at lunch today. It's just been getting colder as the day goes on.

Well low pressure usually means cloudy skies and precipitation, but often warmer temps. So I'd say it probably means lots of rain for areas that don't normally drop bellow freezing. Lots of snow for those that usually are below freezing. Just an educated guess.

Virginia had two shitty winters recently. Its nice we might get a milder one this year. Of course it also sucks I finally invested in snow chains and wont get to use them. 200 bucks down the drain.

It is. Tied a few records today in the city. It usually hovers just around freezing in December without any real snow until January. Supposed to drop back to normal tomorrow. Thaws like this aren't unheard of. With the amount of rain we've been getting, I'm glad it's not cold.
