pretty badass waterblock/case

Yes I've seen this before. Nearly four years old now. 🙁

Problem is with putting all that effort into your system and it becomes outdated so fast (and the worst part) you cannot transplant it to a new mobo / graphics card combo. 🙁

Indeed. It would be pretty sweet for a few months anyway. 😀

All he would have to do is make a new motherboard block set that fits a new motherboard/video cards.

The biggest issue is that it looks like he is mixing aluminum with copper.

Aside from that, this case is amazing.

Spacing changes so it's a bit more involved than that.

Even worse is a silent air cooled system today would make that one look slow. 😱

holy f, that looks beautiful. i always wish i took some sort of metalworking/woodworking classes in high school or early college, some of the stuff people do is amazing.

I'm talking about the whole cpu/motherboard/gpu block, which he would have to redo for a new motherboard anyway. Sure, it's non-trivial, but he could reuse the rest of the case. Although, I'm guessing someone who does this kind of custom work probably sees each new build as a new opportunity to do something different anyway.
