Presto Heat Dish

I'm looking to buy a Presto Heat Dish for myself to use in the winters. Anyone have any experience with this? I read the specs on the Presto Heat Dish, and it is rated at 1000 watts. Does that mean it eats up 1000W/hr?

It depends on how long you run it. If you run it for an hour, you'll use one kWh of energy.
