Drove my car to a car wash place one time, and the idiots rough-housed my paint job. Then I tried the Mr. Clean Car wash kit, and that was a sham because it didn't work well with black colored vehicles (water marks all over because you're not suppose to dry it).

Today, I went to Sears and got a Pressure Washer. It's the best investment to get if want your car cleaned with the least amount of water, no scracthes, water bubble marks, and so forth. It didn't take a lot of time to get two car washed (in one hour). Tomorrow, I will find new uses for this tool, like cleaning my backyard.... (Remember to use soft setting, and stand a distance to you vehicle before you use, or you'll strip the paint)

  1. Some people don't make a hobby of car cleaning. I'd pressure wash mine if I owned one.

I meant to quote this guy... Some people don't own one, so they do not know what I am talking about. Like all PW's there are different settings. The softest one is like a silk wash. Anyways, I don't really want to make a deal out of it, just a PSA I suppose. Thanks.

Apply a detergent using the pressure washer's chemical injection system. Make sure to use a pressure washer-approved so as not to damage your vehicle, pressure washer or lawn.
Detergent will strip the wax off the car
Use a rotating brush to help loosen stubborn dirt and grime. Why use elbow grease when you have a powerful scrubbing brush with multi-rotating bristles to do the work for you?
this may damage the paint by causing swirls

1st. Rinse the car with the PW, softly, gently ((don't use any detergents or soap provided with the PW))
2nd. Hand soap the car, using Microfiber Cloth (sold at local Pepboys). Use high quality car wash soap (like Coral, Turtle Wax, Armor All stuff) from a bucket, not dish washing detergent, etc..
2nd b: Hand brush the rims.
3rd. Rinse again using your PW, softly, gently.
4th. Hand dry the car softly. Make sure that you use Microfiber Cloth, do your windows first.

If you want to use any of the PW detergent stuff (highly industrial), make sure that you don't care about the car or boat that you're washing, because it will eat the paint. If you use the rotating brush or any attachments, test it on something that you don't care about first, like a trash can or something.

PW's are the same stuff that they use at car dealerships, to wash cars - just look around next time you're at a BMW dealership. Use your common sense and care. If you have it on high blast, chance's are that you don't know what you're doing.
