pressure washer question

slag

Lifer
I picked up a pressure washer last night at SEARS.. its a 3.5 hp, 2000 psi, 2.1 gpm unit. I havent even taken it out of the box yet. 25 foot hose, etc. It was $229.00

I was looking online and found a 6 hp 2300 psi one for $298 at home depot. Its not that much more, but nearly 2x the motor (both B & S), and its on wheels, has a handle, etc whereas the other one was like a small generator--it just had a frame and sat on the ground. it, too, is 2.1 gpm.

For only 300 psi more, is it worth it to get the larger motor one? I dont want to lug the smaller motor one that much, and I'm afraid that it might not cut it.

I am going to be primarily washing my car, washing off the sidewalk/driveway, and washing landscaping bricks/stones.

I'd buy the other one just because it was on a dolly-thing. I'd hate to have to move around a hot pressure washer by picking it up every time.

I would go with the one at Home Depot...if that little bit of money isn't an issue because it has the little bit of more power, but mainly it will be easier to handle
