Gee, thanks for reminding me why I posted it over at Rage3D - they seem to have a better sense of humor than the nVidiots here and obviously could appreciate it more. Oh yeah, and before you start the "Rage 3D soldier" crap you don't bother to comprehend, you should check my post count over there - 5 posts in 2 1/2 years, most of which were when I was deciding between a Radeon and GF2. I went with the GF2, FYI, and had it in my system for the last 18 months, so don't bother with the ATI fanboy crap either.

I'll tell you what - you skip the ATI fanboy crap and I won't bother to start in on how in the hell anyone with half a brain would consider the FX 5600 Ultra over the Radeon 9700 non-pro which competes with it at STREET PRICE level and kicks it's ass up the sidewalk, across the street, and back down the other side. Of course reviewers who get free FX 5600s conveniently ignore that comparison that in their reviews.

You keep spewing "I don't care, this doesn't matter"; I smell an nVidiot.

Whatever fool. I've tried ATI 3 times. 3 times. And all 3 times I was less than pleased with my experience. At least I've tried the competition... And you should grow up too, you're letting the internet get you too excited.

Look WetWilly, I'm really not an NVidiot and you have shown that you really aren't a fanATIc. I'm just apathetic is all and all this drama and fingerpointing of late has grown tiresome to me. That's what prompted my reply waaaaayyyyyy up there. Sorry if it offended you.

I have decided to stop trying to spread my apathy btw so this will make some members quite happy I guess. Take care dude, I hope there's no hard feelings.

Dude, there are NONE at all. I had some fun at nVidia's (deserved, IMHO) expense. Like you said, it's only a video card. I'm just a little touchy about issues - any issues whether they're my business or not - regarding integrity, and this whole brouhaha is raising lots of questions about integrity and the oxymoron of "web journalism."

Enjoy your 5600 Ultra VIVO when it hits the streets - I'll assume you're getting a decent discount from BB. Sure you wouldn't like a All-in-Wonder 9700 instead? :)

If you knew the history of Mega's comments re the nVidia situation you would have comprehended those comments better. You would have also known I had no intention of provoking a reaction - I simply headed off the points Mega had used in other posts to respond to people who criticized nVidia. But then again, asking you to comprehend would obviously be asking WAY too much. Oops - is that trolling?

I hafta say that I like both the GeForce FX 5800 Ultra and the new GeForce FX 5900 Ultra but not the 5200 or 5600. These latter 2 are too underpowered. nVidia shoulda made the 5600 Ultra like the GeForce4-Ti4400 and the 5200 Ultra like the GeForce4-Ti4200. As for ATI I think they're a great company and make great GPUs just like nVidia. We need them both (Matrox? S3? Where are y'all?) to keep prices down and innovation up, know what I'm saying'?:)
