Press <CRTL-S> or F4 to enter RAID utility

Every time I startup this prompt comes up:

"Press <CRTL-S> or F4 to enter RAID utility"

and pauses for 5 seconds or so. I am wondering how to disable it. I only have one HD hooked up (a sata one), so I obviously don't want a raid. My motherboard is an Asus A8N-SLI bios version 6.00.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Maybe you disable only RAID for the connector you are using, but you should disable it for all the SATA connector not used too. Or you simply disabled the PATA/SATA RAID, leaving RAID enabled for all the SATA connector too..

the nvidia SATA controller support hotswap, as the SATA standard implies, which mean that you can add/remove SATA HDD without turning off the computer. Sure enough you cannot remove your boot drive, but if you had any other SATA hdd, you could. I do that often to share info between my friends HDD and mine.

Uninstall the Nvidia raid driver. I'll never use raid so I never installed it on my Abit AN8Ultra.
